Honestly, we thought the day would never come, as delay after delay held back the gorgeously styled plug-in hybrid sports car that is the Fisker Karma->ke3016. While the car itself isn’t ready to be sold, the online configurator is ready.

We finally got our first glimpse at the production version of the Karma at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and it doesn’t look half bad. Those who say that you can’t have fun driving a hybrid will need to get a load of this. The Karma will be able to hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, yet still manage 100 miles per gallon.

When you log onto the configurator you will be able to see the different color options and the three trim levels. Buyers can choose from the Standard, Chic, and Sport. If you opt for the base model you will get two color options, but if you go for the top of the line model you can get five more. If you really want to go out of the ballpark, the Chic model offers a color called Earth. We assume it’s a mixture of white, blue, green, and brown.
