At the 2009 SEMA Show, World Championship Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. brought the Mustang RTR-C. This year he will go classic and unveil the Mustang RTR-X - a customized ‘69 Mustang.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. uses up most of his time racing his 2010 Falken Tire Ford Racing Mustang in the Formula D series. Any extra time he has is spent drifting his personal 2010 Ford Mustang at events all of the U.S. so he knows a thing or two about pony cars. According to him, the inspiration for the RTR-X has come from a mixture of things he has grown to love from custom Japanese nostalgic car styling and ‘60s and ‘70s race cars. The result is a unique and aggressive car featuring fender blisters, aggressive front-spoiler, and a tasteful rear-spoiler.

Under the hood there is a Ford->ke31 5.0 liter V8 that comes in the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT that delivers over 400hp stock and is capable of over 7000RPM coupled with Kinsler individual throttle body injection and the brand new Ford Racing Boss 302 R1 six-speed transmission.
