Ford releases new teaser photo for the 2011 Ford Explorer

Little by little, teaser photo by teaser photo, the 2011 Ford Explorer is being unraveled right before our very eyes. Now, if only Ford can spare us with these images and just unveil the SUV already.

Of course, Ford most likely won’t listen to our cries for unveiling the new Explorer so we guess we’re just going to have to settle for what they show us. That being said, these here are a number of new teaser photos of the new 2011 Ford Explorer Ford Explorer SUV, most of which, as we can expect, didn’t really show a whole lot of the Explorer. Yeah, what else is new, right?

For description’s sake, this new photo shows us the vehicle’s front quarter panel with a matching head light assembly. That’s about what we have from this new image, but Ford, apparently, has a few more images in store for us – two more action photos of the Explorer in its environmental surroundings.

Again, it’s not much. But the good news is, we shouldn’t be able to wait too long for the Explorer’s official unveiling later this year, at which time these less-than-appealing teaser photos should come to a merciful end. We sure hope Ford knows what they are doing and the new Explorer is worth all of this endless teasing.

Not that attractive but it’s awesome! I’m dreaming of owning a Ford Explorer, but may on my dreams because I cannot afford to have this one today smiley

wow, i cant wait for this Found On Road Dead truck! they’re will only be like 5,000,000 made.

It’s not a secret anymore that this explorer has been packed with new good features.

Ok kingon, you don’t like unibody SUVs and we get it. you posted the same thing over and over and it’s getting old. now go buy your used Explorer. Plenty of them around. Who cares. Go buy the new 4runner. It’s still body-on-frame.

but most car companies cut bumpers in this way now to aid mid cycle refreshes. More Bumper to change means a different looking car with minimum engineering costs.

another boring unibody wagon with ground clearance and 4wd. If you want to make a CUV then make one, otherwise leave the mid-size SUV game to the companies that can put a real frame underneath. I guess this is a dying bread, who is left that does it? GM, Toyota, Jeep and Kia? Is that it?

We are shocked to discover that the upcoming Explorer looks like a Ford product.

it seems to me that it’s kinda smaller, almost the same as the toyota rav4.

yes very teasing indeed.. specially the headlamps looks very aggressive.
