Ford releases new teasers for the 2011 Explorer

So this is how Ford likes to play, huh?

We’re not quite sure if Ford wants us to play "Spot the new Explorer", but judging from how these new teaser photos were thought of, it certainly looks like it.

If Ford is looking to peg the new 2011 Explorer as something that’s in its element in the wild, then these photos do a good job at making that point clear. It’s also looking like the Explorer will be revealed gradually before the SUV gets fully undressed sometime in July. If you remember a few weeks ago, we showed you the first teaser photo - although, similar to these new ones, that didn’t leave a whole for our imaginations to work on - of the Explorer, or at least a small part of it, posing with its chief designer Jim Holland.

There’s no indication from Ford if they’re going to take this teasing game any further in the coming weeks, but if we know these people like we think we do, then we’re pretty sure that they’re going to come out with something a little stranger the next time around.
