Does this look a little too familiar to any of you? Ford->ke31 has come out with a new teaser image of a soon-to-be-unveiled vehicle. Where have we seen that before?

Oh, wait. They did that so many times with the 2011 Ford Explorer it eventually became a little too tiring. Now, the Blue Oval is back to their old tricks after releasing a teaser photo of the 2012 Ford Ranger->ke1060.

From what we know, the new Ranger appears to be a little bigger than its predecessor and could potentially be configured as a four-door crew cab. True to form, Ford didn’t give away a whole lot about the new pick-up, although they did say that the new pick-up will be more powerful than previous models while also boasting of having excellent fuel economy. We also need to pass along some distressing news to people who are big fans of the Ranger. The next-generation pick-up won't be making it's way to the US because, according to Ford, the new Ranger is too close in size with the Ford F-150->ke423 and Americans would rather spend their hard-earned money for a larger pick-up at a price tag that isn't too far from the Ranger.

But as for the rest of the world? Rejoice! The Ranger is still coming in your shores.

We can’t expect anything more than what Ford has given, but as soon as new developments about the new Ford Ranger come out, we’ll be sure to pass them along.
