Freak accident see’s car sliced open by mower!

A New Zealand woman is recovering from being involved in a freak accident involving her car and large local authority tractor with mower attachment.

Hera Anderson, 59, was sitting in the drivers seat of her parked Toyota when she heard a terrific bang and felt something touch her face, it was only when she got out of the car to see what had happened that she was able to see the full extent of the damage to her car. The Toyota had been sliced along its length at waist height, the damage similar to that of a tin opener was caused by a local authority tractor with a mowing attachment for cutting grass, the cause of the accident is said to be that the tractor went over a bump in the road which enabled the blades of the mowing device to cut into the car. The car was a right off and thankfully both the driver of the tractor and Mrs. Anderson were unharmed though as you can imagine they are probably both as shocked as each other. Mrs. Anderson plans to seek compensation and an apology.
