Furious 6 Set to Hit Theaters in May 2013

Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport in Fast Five

When the big wigs in Hollywood got together to put together a little movie about the street racing "fad" back in 2001, we’re betting they never thought it would give birth to five box office hits and tons of moolah. Fast Five just went into theaters on April 29, 2011 and in the first weekend made $86,198,765. So far, the fifth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise has climbed to $600 million and now, NBC Universal’s little money tree has just been given some extra fertilizer. Rumors suggest that the sixth Fast and the Furious movie - dubbed Furious 6 for now - will hit theaters worldwide on May 24, 2013.

A while back, Universal had promised that the F&F franchise would continue to evolve from its car-saturated roots into a "heist action" series. What that will do to the sixth film is still unknown, but we’re not sure how car-loving fans will feel if their beloved four wheeled machines are given a cameo instead of a leading role.

Speaking of starring roles, expect the sixth installment of The Fast and The Furious to include Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne Johnson as the main characters because, other than Walker’s racing hobby , what else would these guys be doing?

I like the color but too much on design. It’s a sporty look even without the graphics. Lot of people will buy it if ever.

The heist action in the movie makes it more exciting! I really hate it when they are just stuck in one place and having a conversation , its kind of boring. I wonder what will happened next.. their family story?hehe

Well, I am not really bothered if they do what they are saying with this franchise as long as they keep those fancy cars. In fact, I am looking forward to the series more with that.

I think that it’s really too early for them to be considering a Furious 6 now. Sure, Fast Five did a killing in the box office, but that really doesn’t make it worth a part six yet.

Well if the rumors are true, of course Fast and Furious 6 will surely hit the box office as done by the first ones. Only if they keep the stars of the movie intact.

Well, they probably won’t get too far off the car oriented story. After all, that’s really what made the franchise take off, so it is unlikely that they would leave it out that quick.

Ha, what did I tell you guys? There is definitely going to be a sixth one. But the only thing that I am not really keen on is them changing this to a heist series. I’m fine with that, as long as they keep those great car

What the? They already have a playdate for part six? Now that’s really something that I call fast. I still have the get over Fast Five and now they are now already announcing a sixth one.

Yeah Its too fast....Actually, It takes five years before the producer decided to make the next sequel of Fast and the Furious , Tokyo Drift the fifth installation! The previous movie was great because of the car racing scene though the storyline is not that interesting for me.

Whoa! I think the creator of the Fast and the Furious got excited with the tons of moolah that they have earned during the premiere of their latest movie. BTW, it seems that the debut of the next installation is very fast just like its title suggestsmiley
