GTA prepares Spano Spyder and R versions

The GTA Spano was the first Spanish sportscar, and it turned out to be more successful than everyone expected. Of course that just means that GTA would be crazy not to crank out a few more versions of this Don Juan. So during the latest testings done at the Valencian Community Ricardo Tormo Circuit test unit, GTA discussed two future versions for the Spano sports car: a Spyder and a track-focused R version. There aren’t any details on either of these future models, but we expect them to deliver the same performance numbers as the coupe version and also only be offered in limited numbers.

As a reminder, the GTA Spano is powered by a V10 engine which is longitudinally positioned at the rear and delivers 780 HP and a torque of 920 NM. The car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds and can hit a top speed of 207 mph. It is built on a chassis created by combining Kevlar, carbon fiber, and titanium, and sits on a set of wheels manufactured exclusively for this car.

I like the newer platform of this car! It exterior here look so boring, I haven’t see much detailing and can’t any aggressiveness on this vehicle though it has a 700 hp output power! I wonder on what will be the future of this sports car.

Just looking at the speed performance of this car, no wonder why its quite successful among Spanish brand. Its horsepower and torque is just enough to make this car runs like a rocket-like.

I don’t like the front of this car it looks so lame. Seriously, it needed and facelift and modification for the styling.

They need to re-tuned and prohibit the forced induction. On the other hand why they are using NA 4.0L F6 ? The manufacturer need to have another resource for the engine.
Seriously, they need to build a better one.

80 HP and a torque of 920 NM ..wow that’s awesome!

No doubt about it. I have witness my friends go gaga over the GTA. The baddest car on Asia.

hmm like many said i love the hardtops instead of the spyder but for sure the r specs is different from the hardtop and spyder.

Everyone gripes about how all of the hybrids are looking too similar (Prius, Insight, Volt), but I’m starting to grow tired of what is now the cliche "super car" shape.

well i like the r version more rather than the spyder one. it looks boring on spyder edition

cool i wonder how much will they sell the Spyder and the R version of the spano.
