Hennessey is really determined to leave the Veyron way behind. After building the Viper Venom 1000 - the fastest car in the world with a top speed of 255 mph, they are no planning to create a 1000 hp mid-engined supercar.

The new model will be based on the Venom 1000, but it will weight 800 pounds less. Also the engine will be mounted up back and will be matted with a sequential gearbox.

John Hennessey said that a concept version is soon to be released.
