It has been a very busy few weeks for the team at Forza->ke3733 Horizon 2. The new game will be available in just a few short weeks and the list of cars coming to the game is growing quickly. We started with the first 100 a few weeks ago, and since then there have been 31 more cars made official. Yesterday, we noticed that an all-new trailer for the game showcased at least three other cars that had not been announced.

That is now only partially true, as Forza Horizon 2’s latest batch of official cars includes the Rally Fighter. Overall, we have 45 more cars to add the official list of the first 100, and there are some good ones here. From classic metal like the AMC Javelin and the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, to legendary rally machines like the Lancia Stratos HF Stradale and the Audi Sport Quattro there is something for everyone. For the entire list of new additions, as well as highlights and photos for 11 cars form the list just take a look after the break.

Make sure to let us know which one of these cars is your favorite in the comments.

1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2

The Alfa TZ2 is one of those cars that makes me love Italy. This car essentially started life as the TZ1, a lightweight, space-frame race car->ke148. Designers took the race car, made it lower, wider and even more powerful. The car uses a fiberglass body to shed pounds, and the design is from the legendary house of Zagato. In many ways, the TZ2 resembles a Ferrari GTO, and just like the prancing horse, the TZ2 went on to dominate racing competition. It only had a 1.6-liter engine, but it sat atop the podium of GT-class races for more than a year. Sadly, there was never a production version sold to the public.

2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is

The sDrive35is is the latest rendition of BMW's storied roadster history. It lacks some of the interesting and exciting details of previous cars like the Z1, but its refined shape, slick power-folding hardtop and sprightly turbocharged engine make it one of the best of its breed. If you want some luxury and refinement for cruising around the landscape of Forza Horizon 2, and you would prefer to have sunshine on demand, the BMW Z4 is a solid choice to be sure.

2002 Ferrari Enzo

When it comes to Ferraris, nearly every single car they have produced has some sort of significance or special trait. Very few of them need to be introduced, and this addition to the Forza lineup is no different. The Ferrari F60, better known as the Enzo, is one of the fastest machines ever produced by the Italian company. Fitting that it should be named after the company's founder. It is powered by a 6.0-liter, V-12 engine that is capable of revving to an astonishing 8,000-rpm redline. The mill itself is good for 650 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. With a large dose of carbon fiber, the Enzo weighs next to nothing, and it can complete a sprint to 60 mph from a dead stop in just 3.3 seconds. If you want to go fast, there are few things that do it better.

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427

The Corvette holds a special place in the pantheons of automotive history. What started as an odd experiment has morphed into one of the greatest names to ever be emblazoned across anything with four wheels and a motor. Of all the cars that have been produced over the car's illustrious 60-plus-year history, the C2-generation Stingray is one of the best known. Of all the C2s, the later year 427 cars with the angry-looking side-pipe exhaust are the most recognized and sought after. You may not be able to park one of these cars in your garage in real life, but now thanks to the power of video games, you can at least terrorize the Italian countryside with one.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II

Homologation. This one word has created some of the greatest road cars in the history of the world. It is a simple word that made sure that any automaker who wanted to go racing was required to produce a certain number of road-going versions of their racers. This rule gave us the bonkers BMW M3 GTR, and it gave us the next car to be added to our Forza Horizon 2 roster, the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II. Yes I know its a terrible name, but it is a phenomenal car. Essentially a 190E with better suspension, more horsepower, increased downforce and a full body kit, this four-door was a true wolf in sheep's clothing. They are hard to find as only 500 were ever made.

2012 Hennessey Venom GT

If you pay any attention to TopSpeed.com you are fully aware of this machine, and what it is capable of. It weighs about as much as a Miata, but thanks to a modified Corvette engine with a pair of turbochargers, it has 1,000 horsepower and holds the unofficial record for world's fastest production car. It is so fast that from a dead stop it can hit 200 mph in a shade over 15 seconds.

2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

The arch nemesis of the Venom GT is the Bugatti Veyron SS. Hennessey touts that they have the world's fastest production car, but the Bugatti actually has that trophy up on the shelf in an official capacity. With a price well over $1 million, AWD, and 1200 horsepower being blasted to the ground by a unique W-12 engine with four turbochargers, the Veyron is the king of superlatives. For more than 10 years now, the Veyron has been the king of the hypercar royalty.

1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO

It may not be as fast as the previous two cars on this list when it comes to top speed, but on a dirt road, nothing seems to be quicker than this Lancia. Everyone knows how great the WRX STI and Lancer Evo are, but this one machine has racked up more manufacturers championship titles in the World Rally Championship than both of those put together. With a full six titles under its belt, no other car has been more successful in domination the gravel tracks of the world than the Delta Integrale.

1958 Aston Martin DBR1

If you want to see beautifully designed cars, you can't go wrong with Aston Martin, and the DBR1 racer from the late 50's is one of the most beautiful. It wasn't just a pretty face either. Made using a magnesium alloy, the car was incredibly light, and with a 254 horsepower 3.0-liter engine, it was quick. Carrol Shelby took it to win Le Mans, and Sir Stirling Moss piloted it to two of his four wins at the Nurburgring.

1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe

Just as the DBR1 helped solidify Aston Martin in the pantheon of motorsports history, the 300SL instantly made Mercedes-Benz a performance icon for life. It has an advanced aerodynamic shape, offered a futuristic aluminum-alloy body construction, and it had a tube-frame construction for strength. This tube-frame chassis is actually the reason for the car's iconic gullwing doors. It went on to win many iconic races including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the brutal Carrera Panamericana.

2014 Local Motors Rally Fighter

Well, I spotted it yesterday, but now its officially here. The Local Motors Rally Fighter is now on the roster for Forza Horizon 2. It has a Corvette engine, a race car-style, tube-frame chassis, and more suspension travel than you know what to do with. If the road ahead is rough, there are few things that can beat it.

As promised, here is the list of every new car announced since the first 100. This list does include the cars listed above.
