Holden VE Commodore coming to USA

General Motors has announced at Paris Motor Show that th Holden desing will be sold in USA under the Pontiac Label. The american version of the VE Commodore will be unveiled at Chicago Motor Show in 2007.

The new car will be a Pontiac and it would receive some visual changes including a new nose. If the american Commodore will be a succes in here, GM may even start building it over here.

Daz what are you on about. First the car is built on a platform designed for a global market and second, we would never have the production capacity for a big selling Commodore in the US. The more success this car and the platform has in the US (including the new Covette that will be based on the Commodore platform) the more jobs for Aussie engineers!

I really hope that the americans don’t build future commodores. We dont build there corvettes

ohh yeah, i will now be able to buy a ute baby, put 20’s on it and be king
