Honda NSX

It may still be a few years from now, but after years of teasing and concept reveals, the Honda NSX will finally be launched as a full-fledged sports car.

Very little in the way of details have been revealed about the sports car, but what’s already out of the bag is the powertrain details, which has been announced as a combination of a mid-mounted, direct-injected V-6 engine and Acura’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. The Sport Hybrid SH-AWD uses a trio of electric motors – one mated to the engine and two driving the front wheels – to help boost the V-6 engine’s performance and overall vehicle stability.

Performance numbers weren’t announced but don’t be surprised if the production model hits anywhere between 400-500 horsepower when its good and ready to pounce on the world’s streets.
