Imagine this, you are driving down the highway and all of a sudden a truck spills red paint all over the road - which overcomes the road with red in color and also stains your car. This was a reality on Interstate 495 in Littleton Massachusetts on Wednesday April 3, 2007.

So how did this red mess happen? A tractor trailer carrying red-dye for woodchips was driving along the interstate when it spilled over thousands of gallons of the red stuff over a span of 500 feet! The "entire highway was shut down and traffic diverted onto secondary roads for the cleanup."

According to the Boston Herald, this incident is still under "investigation and no charges have been filed against the driver."
