Many of us have thought that there would be an Acura wagon sometime in the future. Now, with the release of the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon, it seems we were right. In order to compete with Cadillac, Acura will need a wagon of some sort. So, we now have the Acura TSX wagon, but what about those of us who want a little more luxury than what the TSX can offer. Autoblog and reader, Andrew Stump, have created a photograph of what they think a TL five-door would look like. By taking the front off of the TL and merging it with the roofline of the seven-seat MDX, Andrew has created something truly wonderful. That being said, like the normal TL, the looks aren’t for everybody. Under the hood, the regular TL comes with Acura’s 3.5-liter 280 horsepower V6 with 254 pound-feet of torque. For those who want a speedy wagon, the TL SH-AWD would get the 3.7-liter V6 with 305 horsepower. Though the TL wagon will probably never see the light of day, the TSX Sport Wagon will be here in the fall. "."

However, knowing that this car is using the AWD I bet the interior is kind of wider. And it seems that there’s a huge space for leg room.
YoungGecko (182) Posted on 08.18.2011 Well, the good thing about a longer wheel base vehicle is that the interior seems wider. The figure performance of the car is great as well.
AndersonStone (381) Posted on 09.26.2010 the grill is far from being the biggest problem with that rendered wagon
sammy_james (693) Posted on 09.7.2010 Maybe you are just too choosy and the design of front half distracted you.
rogermanalac (702) Posted on 08.5.2010 While I can agree on the exterior design approach, with the exception of the ZDX and TSX, all Acuras have excellent interior and great tech. That FWD-based AWD is actually very impressive, since the TL SH-AWD 6 Speed out lapped both the S4, both the RWD and AWD twin
turbo 3 Series, while having less power. It drives very similar to the EVO X, which I can say from having driven both.
adam_valentine (725) Posted on 06.30.2010 Personally, I love Acuras AND I love the grill. I’ve never understood why everyone hates it so much. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but it seems to really inspire some deep hatred.
Andress (1243) Posted on 06.29.2010 I don’t really like Acura, but for some reason I like the grille. Anyway, the front half of this car looks like an Acura, and the body and back look like a Mercedes R-Class with Acura taillights.
benjie_klien (179) Posted on 06.28.2010 It seems acura got a new design. Well, not bad! and it seems to really inspire some deep hatred.
eddie_long (435) Posted on 06.28.2010 Yes, it looks like that but wagon is still a wagon and yes, this won’t sell well over the market.
joey_santana (329) Posted on 06.27.2010 Hmm looks boring but i think the Subaru wagon look more aggressive and sporty.
Uncia (867) Posted on 06.27.2010 History teaches us that luxury station wagons never sell well. The IS300 Sportcross and Mercedes and BMW wagons never sold well, because while station wagons are great for families on a budget, those willing to spend luxury car bucks for a family vehicle will go for an SUV like the RX350 or X3. Station wagons are essentially for those who can’t afford an SUV, and anyone who can afford a luxury car such as an Acura can afford an SUV.
JoeMadre (17) Posted on 06.26.2010 Uncia’s right - my bros in da hood got better grills than Acura...
