The next generation Jaguar XK will be unveiled in 2014, but until then the company will bring a last facelift version in 2012. There will be updates for both exterior and the interior, but it also very possible to see a new V6 engine and a new transmission.

The facelift XK will feature a redesigned bumper with extra cooling vents, new headlamps with LED lights, a new bumper and diffuser. The XKR version will also get a new rear wing. For the interior Jaguar has announced the addition of higher quality materials and new technologies.

The engine line-up will include the current 5, liter V8 engine, offered in both naturally (385 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque) and supercharged (510 HP for the XKR version) versions, but also a new 3,0 liter V6 engine, in both petrol and diesel versions. Another possibility is the addition of a new eight-speed gearbox that will help improving the fuel consumption.
