The Dutch have Spyker, the English have McLaren, the Swedish have Koenigseg and here in America we have Saleen; but what about Australia? Aside from a few Holden Specialty Vehicles, the island continent has no supreme automotive manufacturer that can compete on the world’s stage that is until now. Thanks to Joss Developments Limited, Ferrari and Lamborghini owners will be running scared from this rabid kangaroo of a super car. Limited to only 25 units, 10 of which have already been spoken for, the Joss Super car will be a very exclusive method of transportation.

Everyone knows how much Australians love racing their four door V8 super cars, so the Joss will be powered by a 500 HP eight cylinder that will propel the Ausie speed machine from 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.98 seconds and hit a top speed of 211 MPH.

According to the vehicle’s creator, Matt Thomas: "This is now not just about producing an Australian first and world-class super car, but ensuring the business is resourced adequately to meet pent-up production demand. We have been refining the mechanics of the business model and the car and are now satisfied that we have the right product and systems in place to move forward." If you are interested in owning one of the 15 unclaimed mid-engine super cars it will set you back around half a million dollars here in the U.S.
