Just like that, the robot family in "Transformers 4" just got a whole lot more serious.

We've already seen a few of the vehicles that will be a part of the fourth installment of the movie franchise. But apparently, director Michael Bay isn't done dropping bombshell after bombshell with regards to its roster of vehicles.

The latest one, the [Lamborgini Aventador,

->ar100112], definitely adds tons more power and aggressiveness to the Transformers’ lineup.

Straight out of Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Aventador joins what is shaping up to be quite the collection of intergalactic robots that have shown a propensity for good taste as far as the cars they transform into. The Aventador now joins a list that includes the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse->ke1112, a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray->ke4603, a customized 1967 Camaro SS, and even a new truck for Optimus Prime.

At this point, the cars that will be a part of "Transformers 4" remind us of the Dubai Police's roster of exotic police cars. Just like the latter, we won't be surprised anymore if Bay adds even more supercars into the mix.

Maybe Megatron turns into the Marauder?

Lamborghini Aventador

The Lamborghini Aventador is made for a movie like "Transformers." As the unquestioned jewel of Lambo’s production line, the bad-to-the-bone Italian supercar has no problems laying waste to its enemies.

Even if it can't turn into a robot itself, the Aventador's sexy styling and its 6.5-liter V-12 engine that produces 700 horsepower and 507 pound-feet of torque are more than enough reasons for us to believe that this car is tailor-made for robot smack downs. Certainly, it helps that it can also hit 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
