Lamborghini’s->ke44 50th anniversary is coming in 2013 and it looks like the company has big plans for this celebration, which we learned a portion of a few months ago. In an interview with Automotive News, Lamborghini CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, confirmed that a new, one-off design will be unveiled to mark this event.

Winkelmann said that this new model won’t be "a revival or retro," but he didn’t give us any more details. So, this new model won’t be the replacement for the current Gallardo->ke375, but we should expect something like the Aventador J that was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

Next to the unveiling of this special edition model, Lamborghini will also mark the celebration of its 50th anniversary with a series of special celebrations. One will be a "Grande Giro Lamborghini" set to be held on May 2013 where owners from all over the world have been invited to participate. The cars will travel from through Tuscany, Rome, Bologna and finally to the Lamborghini factory at Sant’Agata Bolognese. Lamborghini also announced that every dealer in the world will have a smaller-scale event.
