Due to the launch of the new Gallardo LP560-4, Lamborghini has end the production of the Gallardo Superleggera. Last model have been built and sent to dealers.
During the production run, 172 Superleggeras were sent to the U.S: 46 were painted orange, 45 yellow, 37 black, 34 gray, and 10 white.
Gallardo Superleggera is powered by a 4,961 cm3 V10 engine that delivers 530 hp at 8,000 min. Thanks to increased power (an additional 10 hp) and a 220 lbs reduction in weight (USA154 lbs), the new range-leading Gallardo Superleggera is even more dynamic than the already very sporty Gallardo. The weight/power ratio of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is only 2.5 kg/hp, which puts it unquestionably at the top. It needs only 3.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph).
