Hearing the engine rev after the accident doesnt mean he drove off. He’s clearly too far off screen to view what condition the car was in. It’s very likely he’d sustain the damage shown in the photograph

That’s not the same car. If the back passenger wheel bent as it is in the picture, he would not have landed as he did, and got back on the gas ( heard easily in the video). He would have crashed much worse.

Wind your necks in all of you. The bumps are clearly marked. If you are travelling at the correct speeds, you see them quite easily. Whats concerning is that there is extensive road works still ongoing on this road and anyone speeding (like the twat in the lambo) deserves getting their car trashed.

As for a graded speeding fine system, whoever told you that is totally misinformed. One standard fine for speeding. 200 bucks. Doesn’t matter if you’re 20km over or 100km over the limit...200 bucks!!! Its no wonder the roads are one of the worst in the world.

I know this road, as I go along it every day, and yes, there are warnings, also the speed limit is 40KMH, so about 25mph. There is so much bad driving happening in Dubai, in fact Dubai has the third worst roads in the world (after Saudi and Qatar if I recall) some 22 people are killed per 100,000 people, Japan (the best) has just 1.2 people killed per 100,000.

The guys that own these cars are usually early 20’s and so loaded that their parents would call Bill Gates poor!

Hasn’t anyone noticed that there IS a warning to the drivers??? Watch the video again and look for the FLASHING RED LIGHTS! These were put up as a warning to drivers. This just goes to show how observant some drivers are.

The government put up an obstruction on a public road, knowing it could cause harm and danger to others, as well as wrecking an incredible automobile. It doesn’t matter what car he has, or even if he does have the money to replace his car 10x over. I, as well as many others, find it sickening that would you find this kind of danger amusing. The government could have put up signs warning about the speed bump easier than they installed the bump. The idiotic government should pay for any/all damages occured by it.

DON’T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN’T DO THE TIME. DRIVE OVER THE SPEED LIMIT AND FACE THE CONSEQUENCES. NOW THE RICH BASTARD IS PROBABLY SUING THE CITY FOR DAMAGES.

In some ways this is good, but in others its not. I think it was wrong, however, to avoid warning the drivers with a posted sign. It’s like being in school and tripping someone just because they were running. They shouldn’t be running, but isn’t it a little extreme to trip them? On the other hand, *some* people just can’t get things through their little heads without being slapped on the hand. And for all those who think it *was* justified, what happened to these speeders: Even if they did post a sign, the stupid "fast-n-furious", "look-what-daddy-bought-me", "I-don’t-care-ho w-careful-I’m-dr iving-as-long-as-I-com e-off-as-being-a-hard- ass"... people would probably still miss the sign because they were googling over how far they can make the needle go on their tachometers.

i think putting a speed bump that does damage to a car for speeding is like cutting off hands of thieves. ya they shouldn’t speed (or steal) but its just not a measure of equal justice. don’t forget there could be an ambulance fire truck or police car heading to an emergency and in the end the speed bump may only cause another emergency. and i’m not surprised a prejudicial harley rider would ask for the personal injury or death of a ricer.mainly, that’s american ignorance in its most common form. lambos are not japaneese.

Agree there should be some sort of sign, but happy to see those frickin racers get there right deserve. I ride a Harley and every time one of those ing rice burning, bumble bee, obnoxious little punks zoom around me at mach 1 I pray for a set of spike strips in front of them. Speed rules apply to everyone at everytime everywhere...not just when you see a cop, a sign, or when your radar detector goes off (yes, I think those should be outlawed too).
