Lamborghini Gallardo - Wrecked by Dubai speed bumper

WTF! is all i can say that is total crap that they didnt put up any signs or anything. If I was driving the lambo and this happened.....major lawsuit. holy crap. wait a pedestrian could have been killed by a speeder...now the speeder could be killed...that just aint right

Judging from the video, there were more than 1 vehicle damaged. I’d say that the driver of the Lambo is probably the person who could most afford to pay for the damage. Wouldn’t be as interesting to see a Yugo bite it. I’d like to see how the Lambo would handle some of the regular ’ol spring pot holes in Canada.

Thats right. The government has every right to put in a speed bump when idiots figure that since they bought an expensive car laws don’t apply to them. Serves him right, rich ass. and about warning people, people who drive the limit would actually see and have time to respond to the bump. If ur going too fast to see a bump, ur going to fast to react to anything. Hopefully more of these start poppin up everywhere.

What? The government has EVERY right to place speedbumps where they do the most good for the COLLECTIVE society. Whether or not it is your RIGHT to speed, it is the pedestrians right to LIVE.

Watch where you are going, especially when speeding. That could have just as easily been a person. The Lamborghini had no chance to stop...just as in any other accident he would be in. Serves him right.

They should have more speed bumps in residential areas. This may help prevent more accidents. Cool video.

Man! That hurts..... I really feel bad for the guy, + the Gov idea of adding a speed bump in Jumairah is really a bad. Because there are other areas where they should look at first, eg: University City back road, an empty straight stretch of 10km or more!!!

If you want to prevent ppl from speeding place a radar with a camera. If you want ppl to hate the government cuss out driving and drive even more furiously place a speed bump. I drive a car that is pretty low and when im going below 10 km/h and a bump appears out of no where, it drives me crazy cause I hit my head on the roof of my car and my car is damaged from below. I don’t know whether everyone else who posted enjoys having their car recked for doing nothing wrong but seriously, speed bumps are not efficient manners of controlling speeding cause any jackass with a suburban or land cruiser can fly right over with no worries. This is absolutely retarded, let’s assume the man with the lambo spotted the bump and slowed down instead of his front bumper flying off he would have gotten nailed in the rear from a car behind him who had no clue of the new bump. I pray a prince flies over that bump in his m5 and imprisons the bastard who built it.

Its fine to put a speed beump like that on the road but they should have put up signs to let people know, someone could have gotten really hurt.

Exactly, if you want to speed that much, be prepared for the increased chances you have of wrecking such a nice car.

I think the speed bump would have been fine, but they should have posted signs up to let the people know about them. Sure sure... if you are doing the speed limit, there should be no issue, but even if you are doing the speed limit, that bump looks pretty nasty.

Also... this video looks like it was made by some kids who knew about the bump, and decided to record some of the more violent interactions that cars had with the bump for their enjoyment and amusement. Why would anyone think it was a video taken by the people who put the bump there with all the laughter and talking in the background?

Gallardo is worth only $130k... guy should be happy that he didn’t loose control and spun out and totaled the car... that’s "minor" injury and can be fixed for $20k If you’re a tru playa you have to pay to play...

To jump over the bump like that they had to be like 50 MPH or so.And spare me with the 60,the Gallardo had more than 80 when it jumped the speed bump!If it’s the same one from the video,ofcourse.Certainly not the speed limit in that area.He deserves it,bloody roadrunner!

P.S.:I do wonder though if you can drive a Lamborghini,or any other supercar ,over that bump without leaving behind your front bumper.And what if you have a tune-up body kitt 2 inches from the ground?What then?Go round the corner?What about the right of free artistic expression?...I’m out,I’m loosing it...See ya at the workshop!
