The race to unveil the next must-have super car at the Frankfurt Motor Show has a new entry, and by the looks of things, it just might blow away the competition.
Meet the Lamborghini Reventón Roadster.
The car originally debuted in Frankfurt two years ago but since then, very little has been heard about it. It wasn’t until rumors started surfacing again that the stealth fighter-inspired Reventon supercar was giving birth to a Roadster version that talks surrounding the car’s reappearance began to intensify. And now, all the speculations can be put to rest: the car is on its way back to Frankfurt.
Specifications of the car are still being kept under wraps but what we do now is that the car comes with a jet-inspired carbon fiber body and 18-inch wheels. In addition to that, the car is being rumoured to have a 6.5-liter V12 engine that can produce an maximum output of 650 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque, topping at speeds in excess of 340 km/h.
It’s unveiling at Frankfurt is the surest sign we have that the car is finally ready to be rolled out of the plant, although were expecting limited models considering the price for each one is rumoured to start at around $1.75 million.
