Now that Lamborghini->ke44 has finally released the Aventador LP700-4, it's time to focus on what the company has planned for the future. Sure, the Aventador may be a tough act to follow, but we're confident that the Italian automaker can stand up to the challenge, especially since their vehicles get their fair share of versions before getting laid to rest.

For 2011, immediately following the Aventador, Lamborghini will be releasing the LP550-2 Spyder, a model that has been rumored for quite some time now. Shortly after that, in 2012, we will begin to see different variations of the Aventador, starting off with a Spyder version. That same year, we will also be getting the production version of the Sesto Elemento concept.

Fast forward to a few years from now and, true to the Murcielago's path, the Aventador will get a Super Veloce version in 2015, along with a facelift version for both the coupe and roadster models. As of right now, Lamborghini's plans are to replace the Aventador in 2021, but not before releasing a hardcore version of the model called the LP700-4 Jota. The Jota will be lighter and more powerful than the SV version, but it will only be limited to 50 units.

All that and we are only about halfway through the Italian automaker's plans. Hit the jump to read what else is in store for the Lamborghini-loving community.

If we happen to live past the supposed end of the world in 2012, then 2013 will be bringing us a new model set to replace the Gallardo->ke375. It will be called the Cabrera - after a famous Spanish bull of course - and will be powered by a V10 engine with a total output of 570 HP. The Cabrera will be built on a multi-sectional, bonded carbon monocoque and will be lighter than the model it replaces. A Roadster version will follow in 2014 and, in 2018, both models will receive a facelift version. A Superleggera version will also follow in 2017. It will deliver 595 HP, will be lighter than a standard version, and will be limited to only 250 units.

As for the Estoque, a production version will be revealed in 2014. It will be powered by the same V10 as the Cabrera and will be followed by a 2 door, 4 seat convertible concept version in 2015, with a production version in 2016 and a coupe version in 2021. A facelift version will arrive in 2020.

Lamborghini will mostly be focusing on reducing the total weight and improving fuel consumption for all of their future models. That being said, carbon fiber will be the material of choice and we wouldn't be surprised if we see Hybrid/Alternate Fuel/Alternate Powerplant concept cars and production car variants. Add in the usual SE, Bicolore, Tricolore, Nera, and other special editions, and we've got a lineup to keep Lamborghini busy and the rest of us in utter bliss.
