Lamborghini Sesto Elemento available for order; only 3 units slated for U.S.

  news

Lamborghini has already confirmed that the Sesto Elemento will indeed be headed to the production line, albeit in a very limited run. With such a minute number being produced, anyone would be hard-pressed to get know when Lamborghini is even actively selling it, let alone be able to grab hold of one of those units. Now that task has gotten even harder as a high-end dealership in La Jolla, just north of San Diego, has confirmed that Lamborghini is now accepting order for the car and that there will only be three units headed over to the United States.

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be offered at a princely sum of $3.44 million. Rumors suggest that this payment will be taken Reventon-style, which means three equal payments of $300,000 or higher with the remainder being paid at the end of the deal. That kind of price tag will bring its owner a 570 HP V10 engine and a power-to-weight ratio of only 1.75 kilograms per HP. This allows the Sesto Elemento to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a sensational 2.5 seconds, while top speed will be higher than 186 mph.

Anyone willing and able to pay that incredible price tag better have their phone in hand and their bank account numbers handy.

Oh no! The 0-60 mph of this car is quite impressive!I think it surpass the performance of the regular model which is 3.3 only!

The face looks so odd for me! Aventador,Diablo and Murcielago would be the production for me! BTW, this car is too pricey but I think the speed performance can justify its price.

I don’t like the rear lip of this car its too excessive. And i find the price tag is extremely high compare to the Aventador. However, the numbers is quite impressive, I guess that would justify the price.

Hmm, I doubt they are just getting preorders. From what I know, ordering a Lamborghini is not as easy as placing a preorder, since you have a lot of things to fill up for this one.

So is this one really going for sale? I think I have yet to see an official announcement coming from Lamborghini. But maybe what they are getting are the preorders.

But if you think of it La Jolia is a well established dealership. So it wouldn’t really be easy for them to go around telling people that they are selling the Sesto Elemento if it isn’t coming.

Hmm, this one is a bit of a tricky rumor. Maybe it would be a good idea to wait first for Lamborghini is indeed putting up the car into production.

I don’t think this is already the production version of the Sesto Elemento. If you can recall, Lamborghini said that they will begin production two years from now. These might probably be just derived from the concept.

Aah.. What a lovely design and 0 to 60 in 2.5!! No wonder they priced it so high. I wonder who are those 3 lucky ones who will be extremely proud to drive it while others are dying to just have a glimpse of it.

Wow, that was quite fast. From what I have read before, the Sesto Elemento isn’t going to be in production up until two years from now. Maybe Lamborghini is trying to get as few quick bucks.
