Leaked documents reveal 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 will receive improved technology

  news

Oh those sneaky little interns. No matter how hard automakers try to keep things a secret, there is always someone willing and able to feed information to the ever-hungry public. The latest morsel served up is that the Ford Mustang Boss 302, fresh off of its comeback, will be improved for the 2013 model year with new technologies, including Ford’s latest SYNC and MyKey systems, and a 4.2-inch LCD message center placed in the instrument cluster.

This bite-sized piece of information comes from a leaked document that also suggests that the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 will be receiving HID headlights - not sure just yet if they will be standard or optional - and a graphics package similar to that of the 1970 Boss 302. The same document also suggests the car will receive a modified front fascia with new splitter and a new set of 19" wheels painted in aluminum.

These refinements will join the same 5.0 liter V8 engine in the current model, so we’ll still be driving around with 440 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque. The only difference is we’ll be a lot more technologically advanced when doing so.

Hit the jump for more leaked features for the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302.

Very simple design and very simple paint color. For me 2012 mustang is the best than 2013.

I’m so impress to this car. I like the design and the color combination. I think the performance of this car is good because of 6-speed manual transmission. It’s my opinion. smiley

Well, I guess those ’hungry public’ are already lined to be the possible buyers of this vehicle. on the first debut of the Mustang Boss 302, I’m really impressed on the performance of the car. I hope to read updates for this future production.

Oh yeah! I thought Mustang will not make any more production for this car. I’m glad to know its come back in the lime light. It seems that there’s a lot of modification on the specs of the vehicle.

At the first debut of the vehicle I have to say that I was really impressed with the styling and aggressiveness of the car. However, its too disappointing that the speed performance of the vehicle doesn’t deliver an awesome power output.
