Earlier today we saw the third official teaser video for the C7 Corvette->ke4579 and now it’s time for another inside look at the next sports car, thanks to a few leaked images. This new illustrated image, which is obviously taken from the 2014 GM service manual, offers a good look at the car’s front end and a good glimpse of its front brakes.

As you can see our previous suspicions are confirmed, as the front will get a more pronounced hood scoop and larger headlamps. The suspension image reveals that the C7 Corvette will get slotted front disc brakes with what appears to be two-piece composite rotors, which help keep the brakes cooler and reduce brake fade.

We already know that the C7 Corvette will be powered by a new LT1 Gen V engine, which pumps out at least 450 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 450 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. This represents a minimum of a 20-horsepower increase over the previous 6.2-liter V-8. Additionally, Chevrolet->ke199 hopes to deliver a fuel economy of 26 mpg from the 2014 `Vette.

Full details on the C7 Corvette will be unveiled on January 13, 2013 so stay tuned!

Thanks to Chris Doane and his sleuth-like photography for digging up these images.
