With the secondary shows out of the way, we are all set to start looking ahead to the main stretch of auto shows that kick off next month in Frankfurt. It looks as if Lexus is all set too, as it is in full tease mode on its media site and on Facebook. Today, it teased a rather sexy-looking headlight that is underscored by a lighted check.

All that Lexus had to say about the concept it that it will "stage the world premiere of a new concept vehicle at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show->ke235 (IAA)." This leads us to wonder is maybe -- just maybe -- this could be the RC F->ke4714 Coupe (AKA IS F Coupe) that we have seen testing in the last few months.

The chances of this being the RC Coupe or RC F are slim, considering just how futuristic looking that headlight is. With all of the times that we have seen the RC F (IS F Coupe) out testing, we assume the design process is well beyond this too-advanced-for-production styling. But it could be a wildly designed concept to throw us off the scent a little.

We'll just take a wait-and-see approach instead of wildly speculating, but we will admit that this image is rather intriguing.

2015 Lexus RC F (IS F Coupe)

There is still plenty of debate on whether the car that we have caught under camo is an IS F Coupe or the earlier-trademarked RC F Coupe. Regardless of its name, the model is nonetheless exciting to think about.

We expect the RC F or IS F Coupe to carry a 450-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 engine under its hood, which would give the M4 immediate competition right out of the starting block. By our estimation -- despite the camo -- the RC F (IS F Coupe) looks much sexier than the Concept M4 that we saw last week, but things can change quickly once the automaker pulls the swirly camo off.
