The 2009 MKT will be powered by the 3.7 liter V6 engine first used in the 2009 MKS sedan. Maximum power will be of 270 hp.

According to Los Angeles Times, Lincoln will unveil the 2009 MKT at the Detroit Auto Show. The MKT is Lincoln's version of the seven-passenger 2009 Ford Flex that debuted at the 2007 New York Auto Show.
