The Lincoln Sentinel concept car was unveiled back in 1996 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The concept car inspired by classic vehicles like the the 1961 Continental and the Facel Vega Excellence of the late 1950s. Now this one time can be yours, all you have to do is place a bid at the online auction house eBay, the concept is starting at $48,500.

The futuristic concept was previously available for auction back in April, the O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Hardeeville, South Carolina attempted to move the Sentinel for around $80,000.

This would be the perfect machine for recreating classic films that were set sometime after today, like back to the future or the Road Warrior. Either way, paying less than $50,000 for an automaker's one time auto show centerpiece is not a bad deal, car companies will spend upwards of $500,000 to create these one of a kind show stopping concepts who primary objective is to create a buzz in the auto market and give the designers some feedback about how consumers feel about the direction of an automaker's design language.
