But what a car, and what a sound. The car is a Shelby GT 500 “Super Snake,” caught as it was being loaded for transport to the Woodward Dream Cruise.
The “Super Snake” is a GT 500 specially modified by Shelby. It is supercharged and, depending on the version selected, puts out a minimum of 600 hp with 590 lb ft of torque, and can be had with as much as 725 hp. (No warranty offered on that one.)
The Ford Racing Handling Pack, shorter springs, a 3.73 rear axle ratio, Baer six piston brakes, and 20 inch Alcoa wheels designed by Shelby.
