Ferrari said will never happen, but it did! The Ferrari California will come with manual transmission as an option. The 2009 California will debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show this October with USA debut at the LA Auto Show in November.
There are 10% of the customers requiring for a manual transmission, so Ferrari will give them one. Before the California goes on sale next year, Ferrari will add a manual option along with a new HGTC handling package that is offered on the 612 Scaglietti. The HGTC handling package will give the 460-hp Ferrari California lightweight wheels and upgraded suspension.

This is after Lamborghini said that they would soon be done with manuals and would only be offering paddleshift transmission.
Is this Ferraris way of being different from Lamborghinis?
