Marussia B1 and B2 - photo session

The Russian supercars Marussia B1 and B2 have been taken to France for a test drive at the Circuit du Castellet (Paul Ricard HTTT), France. These photos were taken there by Sevan Calians.

The B1 will be released via serialized production so you can expect that only a limited run will be seen out on the roads. Marussia is bringing two of these babies to Frankfurt , in addition to the company’s brand-new concept car, the Marussia B2.

The Marussia duo are a two-door sportscar made of aluminum and carbon fiber on a spatial frame powered by a 3.5L six cylinder V-shaped engine. Horsepower ranges from 248hp to 298hp. The cars won’t stop until they hit 155mph and make the 0-60mph sprint in 5 seconds.

i thought B2 is a new tvr .... with it small hp .... it’s maybe look a new exotic supercar with tvr cerbera speed12 engine ....

I agree, not sure about the B1, but B2 looks fantastic..

I don’t like how the Marussia has been design..

Couple days ago, I read on Marussia website that both models offer Cosworth 2.5L turbocharged engines that produce 450Hp and with that it can accelerate 0-60 in 3.7 Sec. It also says that their top speed is more than 250Km/h, i think that’s kind of slow for a car that looks so nice.

I hate those stupid cars!!! they looked like some stupid flimsy piece of plastic. they look so mean too. Those are the meanest plastic bits ive ever seen!

Russians are not only unto chemicals and Vodka.. they are also into automotive business today.

Eventhough Russian supercars Marussia B1 and B2 has very unique design compared to the other supercars still this supercar will be left behind by other supercars on the road.

Undoubtedly, it will be a nice looking vehicle like most of the BMW’s but there starting to lose their character with all this green stuff. You just can’t beat say the E30 M3 . Light . Fast . High revving . Beautiful. How cars should be, right?

Aside from the poor craftsmanship—namely the panel fitment, parting-line tolerances, lack-luster plastics and materials, and terrible orange-peel paint—the Russians just might have designed their FIRST nice looking car...it took them how many years?

At last they teased their new vehicle, and this car have some little bit similarity style of a jet fighter. Also I have notice that it looks like it uses rivets as styling points.

I agree with you Skippy. It’s just like the sports car of Lotus. It has the looks but cannot perform.

They seem pretty slow for what they look like. My 335i has more HP. Sick design though
