Remember when we reported that the Russian companyMarussia Motors was planning on unveiling an SUV ? Well, here it is. This is the new F2 SUV unveiled yesterday in Moscow at the 22nd International Exhibition of CSTB-2010.
Of course, Russian is not one of our languages, but the press release says that the F2 is "a practical car for practical people, solving practical problems". It is an universal vehicle that can be used as in the army and fire departments, emergency squads and emergency services.
Marussia states this car could appeal to the masses due to its functional interior and state-of-the-art electronics. The F2 SUV features safety-latched switches, turbine-shaped air vents, and flat panel monitors to woo consumers. It also boasts an infotainment unit that accommodates GPS, television programming, Bluetooth, and Skype. This unit comes standard on all Marussia models and Marussia says it is easily reconfigured to take into account any emerging technologies, sources, and formats.
We are happy that Marussia put a lot of work into the interior of this thing because, we gotta tell ya, the exterior isn’t so pretty. In fact, it’s downright hideous. It sure isn’t a B1 or B2 supercar , but then again, those weren’t exactly eye candy either. Russia - we say this with much respect - stick to vodka.
