One out of ever three Maseratis sold is in the U.S., and many of those are to southern California. So it only makes sense that the Italian carmaker chose the Los Angeles Auto Show to be the place to unveil its extra-potent version of its supersedan.
Now that the wraps have been officially taken off the Maserati Quattroporte S, the company has also released some new video of the car doing what it knows best, open roads.
The new model is powered by the 430hp 4.7-liter V8 engine. It is 30 more hp than the standard Quattroport and is the same powerplant as GranTurismo S. Remember to be careful where you view this video, there is a certain attraction to a Maserati.
