We like matte black cars. Nothing says badass like the anti-bling.

We were pleasantly surprised by how many customizers and even some manufactures who used the flat black (or sometimes grey) to showcase their product at the Geneva Motor Show. Understatement is always cool, so here are some of our favorites from the show.

There were a few sticker jobs, but I actually skipped those. I’m pretty sure the ones here are 100% real (check out the hardtop fabricated for the Murcielago roadster). That’s what makes it great...matte black tells the world screw resale value or getting attention, instead it’s now about what the car can do.

I wonder which one are real paint and which are black adhesive films. The real hardcore guys do it with paint. But I admit it is a shame to ruin the superb factory paint on those exotics. Not even talking about the resale value !

I love flat black. I always hoped that somehow it would screw with radar guns.
