According to Autotelegraaf.nl, Maybach will launch a new model next month at the Middle East International Motor Show (MEIMS) in Dubai. The new model will be called 62 Landaulet and will be limited to only 20 units. Coming in such a limited edition and being a Maybach, we can expect the new model to be aimed mainly at the superrich in the United Arab Emirates.

The Landaulet models were quite successful at the beginning of the century. They were basically a sedan with solid rear quarters covered with fabric or leather and fitted with side landau bars to make it appear like a convertible top.

The four door limousine with a length of 6.17 meter will be with no doubt the longest convertible ever built.
