Mazda set to bring Mazda2 hatchback to the LA Auto Show

Mazda ’s participation at the 2009 LA Auto Show will now include the Mazda2. With automakers now making a concerted effort to bring in hatchback models to the US market, the Mazda2’s attendance in LA should go a long way in introducing the car to the US.

Right now, the Mazda2 is being sold in a lot of markets all over the world, thanks to a relatively affordable and efficient package, which comes with a number of engine variants including a 1.3 and 1.5-liter gas engine and a 1.2 and 1’6-liter diesel variant.

The car’s entry into the North American market has been widely anticipated after the car scored the distinction of being voted World Car of the Year in 2008.

There’s no word yet as to how much the car will be sold in the US and technical specs have also yet to be released. Nevertheless, the Japanese brand is excited about bringing the car to one of the world’s major auto markets. The car is expected to go on sale at the latter part of 2010, where it will be rebranded as a 2011 model.

The good thing was the car offer a better fuel economy. I was wondering if they will be making a SUV version in their future production?

I really love the decency of this production. Well, I wonder on what will be the figure production of this car?

Due to the awesome look and speed of this car. Well, it really makes this as the World car of the year! I really love the platform of Mazda car it seems to be cute and sporty at the same time.

Wow!It seems that even in the US , Mazda invades its market! Well, this is just a
proof on how successful is this model. However, its just quite upsetting that this country needs to be last one to experience the best car in the industry.

Well, among the Japanese car, I would say that Mazda is quite a successful brand.
And I think it wouldn’t be bid deal if they will be making a hatchback version, differ from their coupe version.

i think Mazda2 has been so popular model and because of the outstanding look and impressive power delivered.

I like the detailing of this car and i think the performance is great as well as expected from this car is was simply amazing.

I like the color of this car and the efficient package offered by the Mazda2. In no less time I bet this car would be sold in the US soon!

The good thing about the Mazda is it always have this decent and clean look that makes it sporty and aggressive.

Who said that trunks are useless part of the car? IMO, it adds a level of privacy and security for your personal belongings when you are not in your car. But I just wondering why I don’t see any hatchback on Russia?

Mazda 2 has the same chassis with Fiesta that’s why Ford and EU Fiesta screw up because the Mazda 2 handles better. And hatchback are more practical. It could carry around ten bags of grocery!

Well that’s a great news that Mazda will have a debut to the world auto market. That will help a lot on their sales especially Japanese will improve their cars for having this opportunity to conquer the marketplace.
