When McLaren->ke284 launched their Special Operations program last year, it opened the doors for its clientele to tap into the company's new vehicle customization program.

Since then, a number of Mclaren supercars have been born from this program, including the MP4-12C High Sport and, most recently, the X-1. Now it looks like there's another one being cooked up.

Our friends over at Jalopnik managed to get brochure images of another project car from Mclaren's Special Operations, an exclusive supercar that has been christened "Project Alpha." Unlike the X-1 and it's one-off status, Project Alpha will comprise of six special edition MP4-12Cs that have been designed with a number of distinctive aerodynamic modifications.

The images point to these modifications, which include a Gloss Black front splitter, louvered front rear wings similar to the High Sport models, a Gloss Black roof, a Gloss Black painted rear deck, carbon fiber rear fender vents, Gloss Black GT3 bumpers, and a set of lightweight Gloss Black diamond cut rims.

Meanwhile, the interior of the Project Alpha MP4-12Cs appears to include a carbon fiber steering wheel with Alcantara wheel trips, a black Alcantara cluster cover, and a brushed stainless steel badge depicting the supercar's chassis number.

According to Jalopnik, the Project Alpha MP4-12Cs will head this way, specifically in Chicago, where six customers are already in line to receive all six models of the limited run supercar. These models will also carry the performance updates of the 2013 cars.
