Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG for sale

  news

This car might be 10 years old, but it’s been so rarely used that it only has 1,500 miles on its odometer. That’s probably why, even if it’s a little outdated, this car is still being sold for $1.8 million.

‘This car’ is the 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG, one of only 25 known vehicles in the world and once considered as the most expensive production car in the world.

Powered by a 6.9-liter V12 engine that produces 720 horsepower and 572 lb/ft of torque, the CLK GTR AMG can run from 0-60 mph in a time of just 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 215 mph, a pretty astounding number for a car that was produced a decade ago.

This particular mode, numbered 17 of 25, is being sold by the Ferrari-Maserati dealership in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and comes with a number of factory options, including monocoque carbon fiber with integrated steel roll bars, a leather steering wheel with airbags, adjustable pedals, an audio system, and air-conditioning.

So if you’re interested in one of the rarest Mercedes production cars in the world – and you have around $1.8 million to spare - you can contact the sellers through Jameslist.

Benz, one of the most prestigious car in the world! Of course, this team never failed to amaze everyone. Now, am thinking of this sale that happened. Do you have any idea who’s the lucky new owner?

You do understand that this is simply a homological special, right? Meaning only the bare minimum was done to make this vehicle road legal. For that reason, every scoop and line has a purpose.

They’re nice, but it wasn’t until now that I realized that these cars kept that OLD front end from a decade ago, all the way up to 2006. But then again, they’re based on cars from a decade ago as well.

There is some wrong information here. The CLK GTR did have a 6.9L V12 but it only made 612hp. In the Roadster it made 650hp. But there were 2 Super Sport models made that had a bigger 7.3L V12 that made 720hp.

There have been copiousness of exotics in the world, but there will always be a little that have the special aura. The Mercedes CLK GTR AMG is positively a single of them. Yes, we know, a vehicle is 10 years aged, though his really doesn’t matter.

I don’t think that 6.9-liter V12 engine that produces 720 horsepower and 572 lb/ft of torque, is not impressive though..V8 engine in TT Rs produces 340 hp..the figure is a bit close..
