After Mercedes revealed the new sedan and coupe versions of the future E-Class, we expected the next two iterations to be an open-air convertible and a storage friendly estate.

Even if the initial rumors claimed that the convertible would be unveiled this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, we have some bad news for you. The future E-Class convertible won’t make its auto show debut until the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
