Mercedes E-Class Convertible spy shot

After Mercedes revealed the initial information and released the first official photos of the 2010 E-Class Coupe, Car Magazine caught the future drop top Benz doing some testing. The official debut will be made this autumn at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The E-class Convertible will make use of a canvas roof, all the better eliminating excess weight as well as cabin intrusion and storage space in the trunk.

Like the coupe version, the E-Class Convertible will be offered internationally with a choice of four, six and eight cylinder engines, producing between 200 HP and 382 HP.
