A few weeks ago we presented you the new McLaren SLR 722 Edition, a special version of the exclusive Mercedes supercar. But the "722" does not tell anything about the number of the horse power. In 1955, at Mille Miglia, Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson beat the Porsche and Ferrari teams driving a Mercedes-Benz 300SLR with the number 722.

The original SLR 722 Edition is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine with an output of 650 hp. And now RENNtech decided that the "722" to tell more about the car. Hartmut Feyh upgraded the stock intercoolers and replaced the intercooler pump with performants elements. This way, the intake temperatures is lowered with 10 degrees and the power is raised to 722 hp.
