We are used to rainstorms during the South Florida summers, but this is just freaking ridiculous. There is a Jeep stuck across the street, cars driving on the crown of the road and a woman wading her way into the trunk of her Bimmer. She was hesitant to open the doors, and with good reason. Personally we though the engine in her 3 Series would be hydro locked for sure, but German engineering surprised us once again.

The ominous clouds covered the sky for what we thought was going to be a typical afternoon thunderstorm, but we should have known that something was up when hail started to fall. Did I mention that we are in South Florida, and its summer, what gives?

It’s a good thing that we got the Aston Martin out of the way earlier today; I don’t think that Marek Reichman would have been so enthusiastic about showing off his fancy Jaeger-LeCoultre watch in these conditions. Let alone drop the top on the new DBS Volante.

For all those hyper milers in their sub compact hybrids, this is why you buy an SUV. Speaking of hybrid owners, what happens when you find yourself beltline deep in standing water, you will probably be asking yourself, how well insulated are all those electrical connectors?
