Michael Schumacher to give his name to a Nürburgring corner

Nürburgring’s managing director Walter Kafitz confirmed that what was announced Sunday by a spokesman, that one of the corners of the famed Nürburgring circuit will be labelled the ‘Schumacher S’.

This will labell the name in honor of seven-times F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, how will come to the grand prix in July and we will unveil the ‘Schumacher S’ then.This curve comes after the ‘Dunlop’ hairpin and just before the ‘Shell’ right-hand bend.Is a left hand curve in the midle of the lap. Schumacher will be completing a lap of the 3.2mile ‘GP-Strecke’ before the race.

The Nürburgring circuit will host this year the only one F1 event in Germany after a deal between the Nürburgring and Hockenheim circuits.The circuites will alternate hosting races each year.
