Mika Hakkinen is no stranger to sitting behind the wheel of a high-powered Mercedes. After his time with McLaren Mercedes where he won two Formula One Drivers Championships, the retired Hakkinen is still involved with Mercedes at some capacity or another. This time, Hakkinen finds himself on the driver’s seat of a Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Edition where he is filming what looks to be a new commercial in Barcelona. We can’t say that we’re not envious of the guy who probably has one of these rare SLRs – only 75 were made at a price tag of over $1 million - in his garage. No details apart from these photos reveal anything about the commercial that’s being shot, although the presence of two cheeky cars – an Opel Astra Coupe and a car that the producers would want you to believe is a Ferrari (nice try!) – suggests that this commercial might have a ridiculous supporting cast to the SLR Stirling Moss. We sincerely hope that those cars aren’t part of the commercial and they just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Photos courtesy of Lluis Comas .

 Cool car. Well, you guys want to know what I think is going to be so cool? For the 2011 F1 race, it will be a whole lot of fun if Mika Hakkinen makes a come back like that of the return of Michael Schumacher.
