Mini at 2007 Geneva Motor Show

Small car, large variety: With the world premiere for two additional model variants, Mini will be presents at the 77th International Motor Show in Geneva. For the first time the public can see between 8th to the 18 March 2007 the new Mini One and the new Mini Cooper D on the Geneva.

Few months after the successful debut of the new Mini Cooper S and the new Mini Cooper four versions of the compact hatch will be available for buyers.

As a base variant, the new Mini One will be offered with a 70 kW/95h 1.4liter four-cylinder petrol engine at the start. Thanks to modern aluminum method of building and using Variable valve control the new engines will offer spontaneous power development and high economics. In the new Mini Cooper D, a 1.6 liter turbo-diesel engine with 80 kW unites/110hp will bring a sporty temperament, and will offer power and exemplary efficiency. 

Just like Mini Cooper S (128 kW/175 HP) and Mini Cooper (88 kW/120 HP) who are already extremely successfully models and offer pleasure of driving, the new engine-variants will provide more power and pleasure of driving at the same time with clearly reduced consumption values and lower emission . 

The new Mini One graduates the EU test cycle with 5.7 liters ever 100 kilometers. The Mini Cooper D is content with 4.4 liter diesel ever 100 and became one of the economical variants
