Ever since the dawn of the pony car era, the Chevrolet Camaro->ke248, the Ford Mustang->ke428, and the Dodge Challenger->ke249 have battled – in more ways than one – over supremacy in the pony car wars of America.

Robert D., an exceptional scale modeler, knows full well the history of the three muscle cars and he decided that instead of continuously duking it out, he went out and created a car that incorporates elemental designs from the three cars. He didn’t give a name for his creation so we racked our ingenious minds and came up with one of our own: the Chastamaro. (Ok, it’s not our best work; but you get the picture).

In describing his creation, which came with the body of a Camaro, the front end of a Challenger, and the rear end of a Mustang, Robert D. said that he took his favorite part of each of the muscle cars and decided to put them together as one car. "I like the main body of the Camaro better than the Challenger. I like the Challenger front end better than the Camaro. Once the idea was in my head to add Mustang to the equation, it all came together, because I found out pretty quickly that the three could combine into one,” he said.

Continued after the jump.

Robert’s laborious work didn’t come with setbacks because finding the perfect aesthetics for all three cars to fit into one respectable-looking ride was harder than he could have imagined. Despite the challenges he faced, Robert D. pushed on with his project, and after four months of hard work, he finally pieced together the ‘Chastamaro’.

As far as we’re concerned, the design of the ‘part-Camaro, part-Mustang, part-Challenger’ looks a lot better than our imaginations would have showed us, which made us think if those three could ever put their rivalries aside and make the ultimate muscle car.

We know; it’s unlikely. But we can always imagine, right?
