With the refreshed 2015 Challenger and 2015 Charger still hot on Dodge->ke28's stand at the New York Auto Show->ke226, Mopar has just announced that more than 100 performance parts and accessories will become available for the said models by the end of the year.

As usual, Chrysler->ke21's parts, service and customer car brand will help future Challenger and Charger buyers improve their vehicles with several engine and chassis components, ranging from cold air intakes to cat back exhausts and suspension lowering kits. Lightweight rims, big brake and anti-sway bar kits are also on the docket, as is the popular Scat Pack.

Customers that are looking to give their Challenger or Charger a unique appearance, will be able to choose from a long list of exterior accessories that include new hood kits and pins, Mopar wheel center caps, rear spoilers and an array of decals and stripes.

Mopar Accessories and Parts for 2015 Charger and Challenger

Cabin choices include a bright pedal kit, floor mats, ambient lighting and even some audio upgrades. Mopar is also offering a few convenience features, such as remote start, a park distance sensor kit and Uconnect Web. Additionally, the brand can fit any Challenger or Charger with an emergency kit and hitch-mounted bike or ski carriers and prepare them for a long vacation.

Once the vehicles become available, owners will be able to customize them during the ordering process via Mopar Custom Shops located within Chrysler dealerships. This option will enable drivers to have their cars delivered to the dealership with the Mopar parts and accessories already installed. Naturally, each added feature will be listed on the Monroney sticker.

The performance options from Mopar -- yeah, you can get performance parts straight from the dealer -- include a cold air intake, anti-sway bar kit, suspension lowering kit, brake kit and a cat back exhaust system. So you can not only make your muscle car suck and blow better, but you can also make it handle better with a factory-baked warranty.

There are loads of interesting products listed below, but if I were to order a Challenger, I'd skip the Mopar section and go straight for the new 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker model. But I bet some of you would go for a unique 2015 Challenger or Charger. So what will it be folks? Wheels, stripes, maybe a hood kit with pins on top?

2015 Dodge Challenger

The most noticeable changes operated on the 2015 Challenger are its 1971-inspired front and rear fascias that now include a split grille and split taillights respectively. The muscle car also received a new power bulge hood, reshaped bumpers and a larger trunklid spoiler.

The early 1970s Challenger cues continue inside, the a redesigned center console was paired to a more driver-focused instrument panel. The 7-inch TFT cluster is also a new addition, as are the steering wheel and the front seats.

The same 3.6-liter V-6, 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 and 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engines are available, with a slight power bump added to the latter. In contrast, the ancient five-speed automatic transmission has been ditched in favor of a ZF-developed eight-speed unit.

Dodge Charger

Changes are more obvious on the 2015 Charger, which has gained brand new, Dodge Dart-inspired front and rear fascias. The reworked interior comes with minor changes, which include a new steering wheel with multifunction buttons, the 7-inch TFT screen and an improved infotainment system with Chrysler's latest Uconnect.

Power is provided by the already familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 which is rated at 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. Like the Challenger, the new Charger benefits from the eight-speed automatic starting 2015.
