More details on Infiniti's two new models

As previously reported, Infiniti will bring two M-based models to Pebble Beach. Today, in an interview with Automotive News, Ben Poore, vice president of the Infiniti business unit, offered new details on the two cars.

The two models will be revealed in October or November with the new one being referred as a new engine option, not an all-new model. Poore described the second offering as a product in a "volume segment" that is new to Infiniti. "It expands our footprint into an area where we’ve never played before," he said. Both models will go on sale before Infiniti will offer the hybrid M sedan . He also confirmed that Infiniti is preparing a four-seater hybrid model, but he offered no other details on it.

I agree with omarion, manual tranny are lighter than the auto-trans. with that inifity would have no choice but to re-align the weight and that may cause another benjamin.

@ tamura i bet they are going to use a dual mode transmission, if they use a manual gearbox the 50/50 weight distribution would be taken off.

I guess people lovers can’t wait to see and describe this most awaited Infiniti’s. Well, this should have those beautiful style and high performance so that people won’t be disappointed.

The infinity m was based Mercedes Benz, well that was an unbelievable collaboration of the both company was it not?

I PRAY TO THE ENGINEER GODS AT NISSAN/INFINITI THAT THIS NEW M COUPE COMES WITH A 6-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX
