Next sports-car coming from Toyota will be built in cooperation with Subaru at Subaru’s manufacturing facility in Gunma, Japan. The future sports car will be designed to younger, sportier consumers. It will be available in two different versions and will go on sale by 2011. The cheaper version, the GT will be priced under $20.000. It will be powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Subaru four cylinder engine that will deliver 200 hp.  The more powerful version, the GT-Four will come with a four-wheel drive chassis and will be powered by a 300-horsepower four-cylinder motor. Rumors are also talking about a hybrid powered version that utilizes Toyota’s i-MEV electric inter wheel motors to drive the front wheels. Toyota also wants the chassis to be released in a two-door coupe or a three-door hatchback. .
